Key Plan

A properly-made Master Key system is always based on a key plan. This document intends to show as clearly as possible the access structure and the arrangement of locks in the system. It represents a basis for the construction, installation and administration of the system.

In the text below you will find a sequence of actions, which we use ourselves, presented in order to assist in the construction of a LOB Master Key system ideally suited to a client's individual needs.]

Step 1

In the text below you will find a sequence of actions, which we use ourselves, presented in order to assist in the construction of a LOB Master Key system ideally suited to a client's individual needs.

Step 2

Definition of system users. Define here all persons or institutions which will be using the system. Naturally the user may also generate occasional keys, which will not be used on an everyday basis, but which may be needed in the future, such as a key for a building  team, waste disposal company, etc.

Step 3

Assignment of access to users. This is the last, the most important and the most pleasant phase, where we need to define access for previously designed keys. This phase also allows us to verify if we didn't define too many users and whether we haven't forgotten any. This phase can be combined with phase 2 and access can be defined directly upon the introduction of a new user
